halloween manners

Halloween is such a fun time of year and in our neighborhood, we have little trick-or-treaters whose parents guide them and walk with them door to door, politely waiting and watching to ensure that the proper custom of saying “Trick-or-treat” has been clearly spoken followed by a proper “Thank-you!” Reminders to only take one piece if the bowl is left out and to never leave a trail of candy wrappers.

I think every holiday deserves to have proper protocol. Manners sure make things so much less scary and so much more boo-tiful! Do you stress Halloween etiquette where you live?
