fine and dandy

Having sons, my one wish for them is to be well turned out and fine and dandy gentlemen. I admire a man who can accessorize a suit. Just the other day we were pontificating on the finer things in life that can distinguish a boy to a man. As they will soon graduate from high school, I only hope that the “hoody” is replaced by a jacket.
